The product range serves three major markets - telecommunications, the smart home sector and the automotive industry. In the field of telecommunications networks, the company deals with solutions for fixed and mobile networks and with the development of high-speed networks. For the Smart Home product group, LAN data cables are manufactured for networked, intelligent and sustainable buildings. The company supplies the automotive industry with high-tech cables for hybrid and electric cars as well as for networked and autonomous vehicles. The eibabo® technology store mainly focuses on Cat.5 cables, Cat.7 cables and fiber optic cables, each with different conductor diameters, conductor classes, shielding, fire behavior classes and material compositions. Acome was founded in Paris in August 1932 as a Cooperative and Participatory Society (SCOP) and initially had 50 members. There are now well over 1,000. The group's headquarters are still in Paris, and the German agency is in Ratingen. Acome has more than 10 production sites (in France, China, Brazil and Morocco), all located near major automotive customers. Over 2000 employees work for the company.
