Satellite dish
Multimedia signals are received and used in almost every household. Internet, television and radio are omnipresent and it is hard to imagine our everyday life without them. In addition to the classic cable connection, the well-known satellite antenna is of course also suitable for interference-free reception of television and radio signals. The receiving devices, also known as parabolic antennas, are divided into classic offset antennas and so-called flat antennas with an integrated LNB. While the offset antenna has the well-known bowl shape and has a protruding feed arm to which the LNB is attached, the flat antenna is usually square, about 40x60cm in size and is particularly practical when there is little space or the system should not be noticeable. This is the case, for example, when camping or when mounting takes place on a balcony. With regard to size, the following applies: With offset antennas, a diameter of 60 cm is usually sufficient if the Astra satellite is being targeted and there are no obstacles interfering with reception. However, if you have to cope with difficult installation conditions or live in bad weather areas, you should choose the antenna one size larger in order to have enough reserves in case trees, buildings, thunderstorms or snowfall disturb the reception. Inexpensive and high-quality offset antennas and flat antennas are part of the extensive eibabo range.
