Opening detector

Opening detectors are components of your security-relevant house installation. You use them to monitor windows, doors and other entrances and exits to the building. They consist of a reed sensor, which forms a closed circuit in cooperation with a magnet attached directly next to it. If the distance between the two components is increased, for example by opening a window, the closed circuit is interrupted, the opening is noticed and reported to an alarm center.
