Voltage tester
In any case, when you work on electrical installations or deal with electricity, you are always careful to take all the safety precautions in place to avoid accidents. And before you put your hands on a live component, check whether it is live or not. There are different ways and tools to do this. A single-pole voltage tester, also known as a phase tester or lying pen, is often sufficient for a simple check. This is a high-value resistor and glow lamp built into a pen or screwdriver. To measure, the tip of the device is held against the conductor to be tested and the rear end is touched with the finger. This closes the circuit to earth and the glow lamp lights up if the tested conductor is live. For more accurate measurement results, the use of two-pole voltage testers is recommended. They consist of two test probes that are connected to the test object and, depending on the model, indicate the presence of voltage and the corresponding voltage level on a scale. We offer you both model variants here in our eibabo shop.
