STIEBEL ELTRON is an internationally oriented group of companies and is one of the world's market and technology leaders in the areas of building technology and renewable energies. With five national and international production sites, 24 subsidiaries worldwide, as well as sales organizations and agencies in over 120 countries, STIEBEL ELTRON has a global presence. The company founder Dr. Theodor Stiebel started in Berlin in 1924 with the requirement to develop and build products with low energy consumption, more safety and more comfort. A goal that still applies to the company today. The company is owned equally by Frank Stiebel and the Stiebel Family Foundation, set up by Dr. Ulrich Stiebel. At the heart of the STIEBEL ELTRON Group are STIEBEL ELTRON GmbH & Co. KG and STIEBEL ELTRON International GmbH with their national and international sales organizations. The global core brands are STIEBEL ELTRON and AEG Haustechnik, which are supplemented and supported at national level by other brands such as Zanker and Tatramat. Functional brands such as tecalor and long-standing business partnerships such as with the drilling company Geowell complete the group of companies. The STIEBEL ELTRON Group has a total of 26 subsidiaries located in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. The total turnover in 2015 was 435 million euros. The group employs around 2,900 people worldwide.
