Tehalit

The company, or rather the name Tehalit, has its origins in the first half of the 20th century as a shoe factory and plastics factory. From the 1950s, the manufacture of plastic products increased and the production of cable ducts and polyethylene pipes began. In the years that followed, the focus shifted more and more to the business field of electrical installation ducts, until Tehalit finally became a specialist company for the electrical trade. By the 1990s, it had achieved the position of market leader for electrical installation ducts made of PVC, aluminum and sheet steel in Europe. Today, Tehalit is a brand of the Hager Group, to which the company was sold in 1996. Hager Group is a leading provider of solutions and services for electrotechnical installations in residential, industrial and commercial properties. The company itself was founded in 1955 and is an independent, family-run company based in Blieskastel, Saarland. Hager operates worldwide and produces its components and solutions at over 20 locations on all continents. The group's core business ranges from energy distribution and cable routing to intelligent building control and security technology. In addition, we work together with partners from industry and the electrical trade on future topics such as charging stations for electromobility, everyday assistance solutions and technologies for the intelligent home.
