CEE mounted socket
CEE system (CEE stands for Commission on the Rules for the Approval of the Electrical Equipment / International Commission for the Approval of Electrical Equipment) and was an attempt to use a uniform system to harmonize the common connectors used in Europe. The Perilex connector system includes two versions, the 16-amp version (DIN 49445/46) and the 25-amp version (DIN 49447/48). The connectors have a protective conductor (PE), a neutral conductor (N) and the three external conductors (L1, L2 and L3). The CEE-extension sockets available at eibabo are standardized as a plug-in connection according to CEE Perilex. The most common plug connectors according to norm IEC 60309 are called CEE extension sockets or CEE sockets. Usually in Europe, the red 400-V three-phase plugs are used and the blue 230V plugs are used in the camping area.
