Dynatel iD pen marker purple (general) - Electronic cable marker 1438XR/iD – 3M – 7100178163 – 50051128620767: Dynatel iD pen marker violet (general) 1438XR/iD The violet 3M EMS iD pen marker general makes marking and thus later locating underground lines, sockets, pipes and cables extremely easy. It can be located and read in the ground up to a maximum depth of 60 centimeters. It is insensitive to minerals, chemicals and temperature changes and is therefore suitable for any type of soil. Due to its cylindrical shape and small size of 76 x 20 millimeters, it is ideal for subsequent marking in sealed surfaces such as asphalt, concrete or rock. The electronic markers are considered the most reliable method of marking existing or newly installed facilities, even under snow. Their function is not affected by metal ducts or pipes, nor by fences or high-voltage lines. The EMS iD markers are delivered with an individual, pre-programmed serial number. This serial number is also attached to the marker in the form of a removable, self-adhesive sticker with a barcode and can be stuck directly into the cable/location plan. If the iD Marker receives the reading signal from a 3M Dynatel marker locator, it transmits the information previously stored in it. The iD Markers can be programmed temporarily or permanently to store user-defined information such as cable or joint data, type of application or other important details. After this data has been read using the tracking device, it can be transferred to a PC via a serial RS232 connection. These active iD pen markers are also compatible with older, passive markers.
